Our nephew is about to be born!

My brother and his wife Alexis are expecting their first child at any time...literally.  This morning Greg called me from the hospital and said Alexis is doing well.  She was having some real back pain, as she has a bad back anyway, and was sick to her stomach but was looking forward to the epidural. I just talked to her a few minutes ago after she had the epidural, she sounded very relaxed and comfortable, and was trying to get some rest before the delivery begins.  She was dilated to a 5 so hopefully it won't be too much longer before baby Maven makes his way into the world.  Please join us in praying for Alexis and the baby today, and for the whole family as they adjust to being a family of 3.  Greg sounded very excited but also very tired...they had been up all night, and to the hospital a few times since yesterday.  This time they are staying! :)  Every time a baby is born we are reminded of the miracle of birth, and thank God for this amazing gift.  We can't wait to welcome baby Maven into the Ballew family!
