Back to "normal"

After a couple weeks of sickness around here I think everyone is getting back to normal. Over the past couple of weeks we would have one little guy or another get a fever, but no other real symptoms. The fevers would just come and go. Last weekend Levi got very sick with fevers and a horrible sore throat, so much that he could not eat or drink anything without a lot of pain. He went to the doctor on Tuesday and came back with medicine for strep throat. I took the little boys to the doctor the next morning and sure enough they all had it too. Grandma Kelly was super sick too, and guess what, strep throat. Thankfully everyone is doing well now and is finishing up their meds.
Marcus was very excited to get back to school today. I think he missed it and realized staying home wasn't what he thought it would be. It was good to see him go in this morning with a big smile on his face. It's hard to believe he just has 1 more month of preschool.
Here is a picture of the twins this morning while they were cleaning up their room. They are really starting to be a big help to me around the house. Cole especially likes to help me with folding laundry, bringing down the trash, and cleaning up.

ENCOURAGING

We are really enjoying this beautiful weather outside, love having the windows and doors open. The boys have loved just getting out in the back yard, they just run until they drop... We're so thankful and excited that spring is finally here!
During my morning readings I came across many things that were encouraging. I thought I would share one specifically.

DO YOU NOT KNOW? HAVE YOU NOT HEARD? THE EVERLASTING GOD, THE LORD, THE CREATOR OF THE ENDS OF THE EARTH DOES NOT BECOME WEARY OR TIRED. HIS UNDERSTANDING IS INSCRUTABLE. HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY, AND TO HIM WHO LACKS MIGHT HE INCREASE POWER.
THOUGH YOUTHS GROW WEARY AND TIRED, AND VIGOROUS YOUNG MEN STUMBLE BADLY, YET THOSE WHO WAIT FOR THE LORD WILL GAIN NEW STRENGTH; THEY WILL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES, THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GET TIRED, THEY WILL WALK AND NOT BECOME WEARY.
ISAIAH 40:28-31
