Moving

Our familiar friends...
The boxes are here and packing has begun
We might need this little handyman and his skills...

Crazy enough as it seems, the Kelly family is moving again, in August, again...only this time we are only moving about a mile away. It seems like it's kind of fast and strange all at the same time because we were not even really looking or planning to look at houses for a few years. One day in July we saw this house that just went up for sale and there was something special about it to both Levi and I. I'm not sure it's as much the house as it is the yard. One thing we have really been longing for is a big yard for the boys to play in, and not worry about the busy street we live on. It seems the Lord has provided the perfect place for us, in this older home from 1928. It is move in condition, but we will have plenty of updating and "projects" when we are able and want to take on the tasks. I hesistated to say anything yet, as we don't actually close until Aug 13. But we sure would appreciate prayer that everything goes smoothly from here on out, and that a renter can be found for our current home. The boys are so excited to have a big yard, and a long driveway to ride their bikes in. Levi and I are excited about the big front porch swing, and calling this home "ours".

Swimming Fun

It has been a busy week around here, but lots of fun too. Here are some more photo's of Grandpa Gayan's first week here in June. Levi's parents rented out a swimming pool at a local hotel, and we all were able to enjoy an evening of swimming, playing, and having dinner together. There are a few pic's in here of the boys playing in their blow up pool in our back yard too.

Holiday

We had a fun 4th of July this year, hosting a mostly family and a few friends get together, and then going over and watching the city fireworks display. Mom and Dad were able to come up and spend the weekend with us which was really a lot of fun. Levi was on call this holiday, so we were in town for the first time on the 4th of July. Just as the fireworks began his pager went off and he had to go in to the ER to intubate a patient. He was able to get the patient intubated fairly quickly and was back to pick us up just as the fireworks ended. While the fireworks were going on all I could think about was this patient being in a life and death situation...I am so thankful for my Lord and Savior, and very blessed by our families and friends.

We have had a wonderful time with Levi's Grandpa here! Actually I'm about 3 weeks behind with this post, because he was here for a week in mid June, then Levi's parents drove him to Michigan to be with family up there for 10 days. Currently they are on there way there to pick him up and bring him back here for another week before he flies home to Arizona. We had such a good time with him, and are looking forward to the coming week with him again.

The summer is flying by, hope everyone is enjoying it! There is a lot going on around here right now, very exciting time for our family. I will post more about that later.
