Time with Grandpa

It seems that January is flying by, and I haven't been very good at getting blog posts on here.
I have been meaning to get this pictures on here too...I guess better late than never!
On one of the days we were at my parents house for Christmas the twins went on a little outing with my Dad to Bass Pro to look around. Levi and I were out running errands and Marcus stayed behind at the house with Grandma, so she wouldn't be lonely (but I'm sure she wouldn't have been). He worries about people being lonely, so he enjoyed spending time with her all by himself. :) Anyway, here are some pictures from Dad's time with the two little boys.

Help for Haiti

It seems I cannot take my eyes off of the news and reports of this weeks earthquake tragedy in Haiti.  I have been thinking about it night and day, and praying for the millions of people effected by it all.  It makes you just feel helpless seeing all the devastation...
Our sweet friends Jeff and Tanya adopted their son Stephenson from Haiti, and on her blogs she has many different ways that people can help.  Their family blog is private, but she also has this blog, documenting the months that they hosted two little haitian girls while they were in the states getting much needed medical treatment. There are numerous organizations, and ways to give listed on here.  So go check it out!  Keep praying for the many victims of this horrible tragedy, the volunteers and rescue teams, as well as families who are waiting to adopt.  Many still don't know the status of their children or the orphanages.  Millions of lives have been affected in so many different ways. Pray that food and water can get dispersed as soon as possible, and that medical attention and supplies would be abundant.
Another great site to check out is the Livesay family blog.  Go here, to read about this sweet family serving in Haiti. What God has done in their lives, and through their lives is truly amazing.

Somebody is having fun
Pure joy on his face!

How Cole ended up...laughing his head off

Hiding from Daddy behind their snow fort

It finally warmed up enough (10 degrees) for the boys to go out and play in the snow this afternoon. To say they were excited is an understatement... Carson and Cole had not been sledding before, so we thought we'd start simple and stay in our yard. I think tomorrow we are going to head out for the big hill at swimming pool park, because our yard is not going to cut it. Carson was on his sled and down that hill so fast you would have thought he does this every day. Cole was right behind him laughing all the way. Marcus has been sledding at a big hill, but I doubt he remembers it. He loved being out there today too! We lasted about an hour before we were too cold and had to come inside. I love seeing the boys enjoy life so much, they are making so many fun memories!
