March Madness

Carson and Cole shooting hoops

Cole slamming it home

In honor of the national basketball tournament going on this month, we've been having our own tournaments around here...there have been some mad games of horse going on in the Kelly household. (Mom's still got the touch by the way!) Daddy of course wins most games. Here's a few pic's of the action! There's a couple of pic's here of the boys with their vacuum's...I love it when men clean!

Tunnel Voyager time

Carson and friend Brody

For the couple of days we were home for spring break we were able to fit in just a few things. One of which was taking the boys to Tunnel Voyager. They absolutely LOVED it and haven't stopped talking about it since...well Marcus hasn't stopped talking anyway. It is really nice, they have a toddler room with smaller tunnels and slides, etc. Then they have a huge room for bigger kids. Marcus was just big enough to pull himself up from level to level to get to the top for the big slides in the big kid area. We had been there a little while when they came and told Levi that he was more than welcome to get in there too! It was like watching a kid in a candy store! He had his shoes off so fast and eventually shredded his sweater off too and was playing in there with Marcus. I think everyone enjoyed this little outing! That night we had my friends Lisa, Brianne, and her little boy Brody over to visit. Carson and Brody hit it off great! I worked with Lisa and Brianne at Cerner back in the day, we laughed every single day and have been good friends ever since. It was so nice to see them!

I had to laugh when we were trying to take some pictures this morning before church...it so much reminded me of last years Easter pictures!!! First of all, Cole was in trouble this morning, so he isn't in too many of these...I'd like to think we've matured a little bit since then (after all it's been a whole year), but I'll let you take a look at these pic's and decide! As far as I can tell the only huge change is that Cole's hair actually lays down now! These days life seems pretty crazy (even crazier than a year ago if possible) but we're still smiling and having fun!

So the boys and I decided to sing "Happy Birthday" to Levi this morning when he woke up...in reality what happened is that Marcus ran out of the room because he gets embarrassed easily, Carson just stood there and looked at me like I was crazy, and Cole danced up a storm! It was pretty funny! This past weekend we went home to celebrate Levi's 30th birthday...though he didn't know all that was to come. I had a series of surprises for him, while Mom and Dad watched the boys for us. NO, it wasn't a trip to the beach or some fancy resort...but it was still pretty cool, and he really loved it! On Saturday morning when he woke up I told him he was scheduled for a 1 hr massage. He went and did that, he had never had one before, but loved it. When he got back and showered we put the boys down for their afternoon nap and packed up our bags and left for the night. I took him shopping at the plaza, we walked around and enjoyed the day. We had a reservation at the Marriott down there that night, then met friends for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory (his favorite place). It was a great time of visiting and getting together and just having fun! We then went back to our hotel and were able to sleep in as long as we wanted... I realize this was for Levi's birthday, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well! No one woke us up in the night because they didn't feel good, or early in the morning...it was bliss.
Sunday we went home around noon and Levi's parents drove down to see us (also a surprise). Sunday night we went to dinner with my parents, his parents, and my brother and Alexis. It was a really fun weekend, and hopefully relaxing for Levi as well.
Levi, I love you with ALL my heart, and I'm so happy to have you in my life to share every day with. I am so amazed and thankful each day for the man God has made you to be. Not only are you a wonderful father to our boys, but you are truly the man of my dreams...thankyou for being the leader in our family, and loving us the way you do. Happy 30th Birthday sweetie!
