This weekend my parents, along with my brother and sister-in-law, came up to visit us. It was their first trip to Sioux Falls since we moved here. We had a great time, and really enjoyed the whole weekend. Saturday we all went out to breakfast, then went to the zoo, then the park. The boys really enjoyed it, and the animals at the zoo were very active and fun to see. Saturday night we had a barbque and had a prebirthday birthday party for Marcus. He will be three at the end of the month, but Mom and Dad wanted to celebrate with him while they were here. Of course Marcus loved it!!!! He opened presents, we had cake, and he played with his games and toys he received. There are a lot of pictures here because we packed so much in to one day!

We also have had very BIG news in the past month from Greg and Alexis, and we are all SO excited! They are expecting their first child in May 2008! They gave Marcus a stuffed animal with a onsie on it that said "new cousin, coming May 2008"! We are all extremely excited for them and happy to see them starting this new chapter in life.

I was reminded by my friend "chopped liver" that we actually have had visitors since May... it was a very short visit- but very cherished. If she could just keep her husband from being a travel nazi perhaps they could have stayed longer... and we did just spend a week with a paper member of their family as well- so I take back what I said about not having ANY visitors.... I should have said- we haven't had MANY visitors!!! :)
