What a whirlwind the months of April and May were! Thank you for your prayers. The Lord has been faithful and kind to us over a very stressful time. Last week Levi passed his CRNA board exam and we are so excited and thankful that all of that work/study time is behind him. We were in KC so he could take the test, so that night his Mom and Dad came down and we all went out to dinner with my Mom and Dad, and Greg, Alexis, and Maven to celebrate. It was a very fun time, one that we had been looking forward to for years. We have been waiting for the hospital to give him privileges, so hopefully tomorrow he will be able to start his job. He can not wait to get back in the OR.
Since he has been home the past two weeks and not needing to study, we have accomplished quite a bit. We did some spring cleaning, cleaning out our storage room, the garage, etc. He powerwashed the garage and back deck. We are ready for summer!
This week we all went up to the school for a Circus performance by Marcus class. He was a doggy, who did tricks like jumping through a hoop, and rolling over. It was very cute! All of the kids did a great job! They had made their own decorations, made popcorn, and cotton candy. The twins loved it. It has been a fun week around here. Marcus only has one more week of preschool, then he will be a big kindergartener. Last Friday he was invited by the kindergarten teacher to spend a day in kindergarten to see what next year would be like. He was a little shy at first, but ended up having a great day and says he is very excited to go to school all day next year. He made it all day there on Friday, enjoyed how many times they got to go out on recess, eating lunch there, etc.
